Tuesday, September 3: Giving up sugar is mostly going really well. Today the leftover gravy reminds me of self saucing pudding and I have to eat a whole packet of munchos to stop the cravings for sugar to feed my addiction.
Wednesday, September 4: My talented friend Amie McCarron let me help her set up for an exhibition. I was meant to go to the opening but instead had to book in to get my wisdom teeth removed. :(
Thursday, September 5: The nervous face of someone (me) anticipating oral surgery to have four wisdom teeth removed.
Friday, September 6: It’s Kate’s 30th birthday on Sunday so we hid her present in the liquor cabinet for her to find whenever she needed it.
Saturday, September 7: Second day swelling is huge. Thankfully the pain is manageable as long as I can stop biting the inside of my swollen cheeks.
Sunday, September 8: An incredible day! I dragged my tired recovering face down Oriental Parade for a bit of vitamin D.
Monday, September 9: Still home and recovering. The pain has gone, and only the annoying pinch of stitches in my gums remain. These are Kate’s birthday flowers.
