Tuesday, January 29: I heard about a sale at Brown & Co and almost came home with a taxidermy duckling in a glass case. I love that taxidermy has come to be appreciated as art by the masses. I used to be terrified of it!

Wednesday, January 30: This guy must be pretty hardy to have lasted 4 years with me. I got him when he was a sapling table decoration at a work function.

Thursday, January 31: Brendan plays with Jesse Rivest at Daddy O’s on Thursdays. Banjo slinging and accordion squeezing.

Friday, February 1: We celebrated Thunderbird’s second anniversary with live music and spicy chicken wings.

Saturday, February 2: An afternoon of bowls in Newtown. (Followed by dinner at Wayward obviously. They have frickles with smogurt now!)

Sunday, February 3: I like to pretend I’m not a bogan. (This stuff is teeth rottingly sweet when you’re used to sipping spirits straight.)

Monday, February 4: Brendan’s Warhammer Wood Elves are off to war. (Or something? Ask Brendan, he’s the one with tiny painted models.)
AHHH We are in taxidermy-sync!!!
I bought a duckling from Junk and Disorderly on the weekend – check out the photos on my blog!
